Is This An R34 Gtt Stock Turbo ?

hi i only ask because the only picture on one on here i found says nissan on it not garrett???

all i can seem to find anywere on google is that its for an s14 s14 ??? but is there a chance they use this on the r34 or could it be an aftermarket replacement ??

it's not a stock r34 turbo. Thats all i know...

You need to get the numbers off the garrett tag where the oil/water lines go to the turbo.

they will tell you exactly what it is.

what year is your car ? the late r34,s had garret written on the turbo like that . as standard turbo is garret just had nissan written on it up till then

its a 2001 series 2 sedan

I thought only the R32 turbos had Garrett on them, while R33 and R34 had Nissan printed on them (or was the R34 the only one with Nissan printed on?)

The BNR32 turbo's are garrett, so maybe the other single turbo R32's got Nissan branded turbos?

i just remember seeing a friends turbo out of his 32 when it got high flowed and i thought it said nissan motor co or whatever they say on the housing

i just double checked and my 98 r34 gtt turbo has nissan written on it...

well if it is an aftermarket one its not much of an upgrade !! i took the front/dump pipe off (im installing jjr bellmouth) and had a look at the exhaust wheel on the turbo and its white/grey and looks like ceramic !!!

yeah i recon , it is a nissan turbo because aparently they used them on s15's

from what i can gather its identical other than the writeing !! its still got the op6 exhaust wheel (ceramic and nylon bearing )
