Have worked it out.

Try this:

Settings> Mail, Contacts, Calenders > click on the accounts/addresses that have the "archive" problem

The last tab above delete account button "Archive Messages - on/off", go off.

All done

Seemed to only happen to my gmail accounts, not my smtp accounts.

I can't say mine is very good.

Sitting at 40%

Usage: 5hours, 6minutes

Standby 12hours, 33 minutes

- Push notification on

- 3g on

- wifi was used for a bit of the day

- Location services off

- about 1hour worth of ipod use

- 1hour max web browsing

- Brightness set at less than half but also Auto-Brightness (not sure if that means my setting is useless)

iPhone 4 is nice. Got mine today after 3 weeks of waiting.

Step up from my cheap phone thats for sure, wonder how long before the novelty wears off lol

battery life is not stellar but mine has improved since it was new. not sure how long you've had yours but mine steadily improved over the first 2 weeks or so. I treat it the same as the old 3GS and just put it on to charge when I go to bed at night.

My 3G even now can top that.

They "improved" the battery and people have done comparisons and it should outdo the 3GS.

Not sure if usage includes music playing.

But i'm not doing anything during the day on it. Just a texting, no gaming, a little websurfing and 3 e-mails.

I'll take it to apple and see what they have to say.

finally got my iphone 4 after waiting 3 weeks and 3 days. it was worth the wait the build quality is so much better then the 3gs

Optus doesnt want my business - says they're not accepting any orders for the iPhone 4 until they get more stock. I'm wanting to sign up onto the $79 cap aswell.

Other then that, after 2 weeks of owning an iPhone im very happy, There are better phones out there but I just like the iPhone UI

I will say though that the camera is good, much better then the photos I've seen from a 3GS. And the HD Video recording appears quite good

got mine day of release. i never had the reception issue that everyone complains about. i've also never had previous versions of iphone. so the day i got it, packed with games and useless apps. now im getting over it.
