same with my r32 gtr mate, dont have a clue waht it is i was thinking electrical problem, maybe a speed sensor or something?

Is the HICAS warning light working (should be ON just before START)?

Problem fixed,

for me, i had a unplugged plug behind the cd player that had something to do with the vehicle speed sensor or steering wheel angle sensor, make sure you have all plugs plugged in, as that may be the problem for you, anopther reason apparently is if you have a snapped speedo cable (speedo not working) that will cause it too

What did this plug look like? Did it have a certain colour wire or anything...

Al little more detail could be useful as there are quite anumber of wires back there
