Rb25 Box Conversion Question

i have done the rb20 to rb25 gearbox conversion and im up to the speedo part. Seeing that r33's use an electronic speedo, would it be possible to use the speedo cluster out of an r33 and discard the cable setup? if so how would i do this? Just curious because the r33 speedo goes up to 200+km/hr

are you going to be going 200km/h? if so the mechanical speedo option is there. i'm waiting for my VL turbo speedo to ge there so i can do the conversion as stated in the driveline threads.

Would be possible but never been done. ALOT of rewiring would be needed.

Find a electric - > cable speedo adapter. Nissan Navara's use them...they're about $20-$30 from Nissan here in Aus.

hmm fair call. might just go for the cable and be like everyone else. apparently there is a full on write up on how to do the cable conversion, can anyone please link me?

What diff ratios do ceffies have in them?

I found the Navara sender with the stock Navara cog on the end was a pretty damn good match for my 3.9:1 gears
