hey, Im doing a manual conversion on the r32 and just wondering do you really have to change the ECU to a manual one?

nope. To the best of my knowledge, the auto ecu runs a slightly differant fuel map. The car will run fine after you sort out the neutral saftey switch.

mines a r33 tho but i ran the auto ecu for about a year befor i got a power fc just need to by-pass the neutral safty switch

Cheers, the neutral safty switch is in the engine bay near the fuse box i recall....or on the other side of the engine bay , but not sure what wire or what to do with it. lol

thats what u do with it. its done on a 33 but, not sure where the 32 one is

can run a auto ecu but will run better with the manual one
