Install My Head Unit For $50!

Hey, just got my head unit. its a double din & i need it installed in my new r34 gtt....

Will pay $50 for someone to come to me (im in carlton) (i cant drive it suspended til nxt week)

and install it ;')

preferbly afternoonishhhh around 3pm monday the 9th (Today)

there are a few guides on how to do it and you just need the correct OEM to headunit loom plug adapter and it's piece of piss to install

Trust me Paul those adapter looms are shit. They wire locations never match up to the plug and you have to cut them anyways.

Really? I haven't had any problems doing an R32 GTR and 3 R34's

Depends on headunit and car. My bro got a pioneer headunit. Compared the plugs with the adapter and the plug that comes with the headunit. The power negative and acc where is different spots.

was it using an ISO connector? its a different plug to most headunits but you can get an adaptor

otherwise most headunits will run the same adaptor no matter where its made/brand etc

why don't you just use superglue or something or even chewy to hold the cables together and the unit stable....after all u did want to patch up ur SAFETY airbag so y not patch up the stereo unit.

I suspect an ISO connector too mate. Cause all the look adapter does is re-org the wiring to match all head units, from there, splice, connect and solder them to the head unit connector.

I offered $50 + $20 petrol to drive TO Carlton all the way FROM the Western suburbs. He laughed at me and said he could get it done professionally for $70. So have you found it yet? Because there's no one who would do it for $50 AT YOUR HOUSE.
