Hello people,

wondering if anyone can help me i have just upped the boost on my car and it is starting to miss top end? i had this problem before i got new coil packs but has now come back since i started running more boost, anyone know why???

Sounds like R&R Rich and Retard, assuming you have the stock ecu running the engine.

If so you have reached the limits of the ecu and need to upgrade.

That's as much as i know other's will add to this.

Bit presumptuous Socs, have no idea what mods he has. R&R pulls timing and makes the car run rich, this problem sounds more like high boost is blowing out the spark. What spark plugs are you using mate? Little more info would be helpful, what modifications do you have?

Try gapping your plugs, unless the new coils you got were good aftermarket ones your plug gap is probably to big.

Spark plugs to 0.8 if not already.

If that doesn't work, put it on a dyno and get workshop to look at it
