Has Anyone Here Worked As A 'temp' Before?

Basically, i'm desperate to get out of my current job / industry and start enjoying my life again.

I'm leaving my current workplace at the end of next month and after having a few weeks off i'm wanting to do some temp work to get my by until I decide to travel overseas next year.

Has anyone here ever been a temp?

Pros? Cons? Advice?

i guess it's common sense really

pros you can do whatever you like and you get paid

cons you can loose your job basically instantly

What he said. Also you get no sick or leave benefits.

The job is as flexible to you as it is to your employer. One day you can be told not to come in anymore with no reason given at all.

Hourly rate is usually *ok* but not fantastic.
