Hey all,

I currently own a Vr 1994 commodore =/ as I am on my P's but will be off them in a few months, I was looking to buy a Skyline but am unsure of what I should be looking for, preferably r33-R34 Gts-t?, as I do not know a GREAT deal about Skylines can anyone fill me in into the difference cons/pros of a Gts-t vs GTR? I am assuming the Gts-t is the economical version??

anyway I have been browsing carsales and I see alot of R33's...

(I was actually interested in Supras for a while until I hopped onto a Supra enthusiast forum and got some nasty responses to a similiar question like the one i have just posted =))

thanks.

Hi and welcome to SAU! :/

It's good that you do your research on this forum. Wiki will supply you with lots of info, as well as doing a 'search' on SAU.

In short...

In stock form, R33 GTS-T or R34 GT-T are RWD with single turbo. 2.5l

The GT-R is AWD (via Attessa system & torque split), 4WS (via HICAS system) and twin turbo. 2.6l

Theoretical power outputs are underestimated. And quite a few people will modify their cars to some extent.

Depending on your budget...

Many people here might prefer an R32 GT-R over an R33 GTS-T; or an R33 GT-R over an R34 GT-T if all cars are assumingly very good condition or better.

Test drive a couple in the car shops; and then you might find better examples F/S on SAU for your ultimate purchase.
