the new swift has this factory option my gf has it on her car

you dont need the key to open it or start the car in the phyiscal barrell

it has touch buttons on the door that work if the key is in your pocket

and when you are in the car the barrett has a handle that turns as long as the key is in your pocket

the barrell has a backup key option as well in case the system fails or the remote has a flat battery

I used to have one in the Evo (came with it from previous owner) but the ignition key still needed to be on accesories for it to work. Cool but wouldn't put one in myself.

How about installing an RFID chip in your hand... ...then you wouldn't need a key at all...

Just a wave of your hand over the door handle to unlock and another over the dash to start...

that's when i would clone your RFID signal and then steal the car
