I'm pretty sure the internet apart from my facebook hasn't seen mine yet.

SOooooooo I will add to the page 4 of awesomeness.

Granted she's not quite as sexy as yours, rowan. But, I love it nonetheless. =D

I've decided, I'm gonna take the new engine, take the head off and put my head back onto it. Using either a cometic 1.2mm Multi-layered steel, or a similar goodness in *wait for it. wait for it. wait for it* Tomei. Hmmmm... Oh and ARP head bolts. Gotta do it right, first time.

You've sort of inspired the 1.2mm idea a little there Rowan. Response and high-comp is where I wanna be. Boost is cool, but I prefer response and torque. Plus, NEVER ran anything more than 9psi mafugga. Miiight boost to 11 or 12 if it can handle it but chyeah, that's it.

Trouble is, no fuggin idea where I'm getting a head gasket THIS WEEK.

Or where the cashish is coming from. Hmm... Gayness.

ROWAN. f**kING GYAAA.

Wanna come to Northam friday night bra?

Edit: I do realise it's Northam, and there's 8000 more things better to do than watch me tinker on the 25. But meh, if you're bored.

actually - is it just ME or is the cefiro section a REAL community again???

like is it my imagination or are we closer than we all have been in recent years??

toffy you're reading this thread i see you - you'd konw what im talking about.. you've been around a couple years now...

are we all like - REALLY out to help each other again?

like years and years ago the orig crew was (how i remember it) was me, dangerous daveo, jaik, inark, shan, SOFTY! HUDDY!!!! omg RHIGA, and toffy.. all these guys that don't visit now...

...then everyone sold their damn cars n moved the hell on haha

and there was no "cefiro" community for years - i feel like the "community aspect" is now back... and stronger than ever before with a new breed of doodz. so - hats off to all you guys :P

Dunno about the ceffy community mang, I've not been around for long enough. I do know, however, if there's someone in need and they come to us, well. Yeah. We're there.

Helping people is what car culture should be about. Hanging out, working on each others cars, driving around, just generally chilling. Not doing skids then running from cops or getting your car impounded every other week.

Just jokes kev :P

Don't

Look at that other dude with the SR20 Cefiro (Banger's old one)

Bright Orange....stickered the day he bought the car.

Keep it sleeper, then you look even better when the lights go green and your 'stock standard camry' smokes the V8 next to you.

get something modern like a metallic gunmetal. Something classy. Dont do this hacked up orange green pink pastel shit. Personally i think leave it white. Nothing looks cleaner, or nicer than a nonmetallic arctic white with deep reflective clearcoat

also like to add.. The softer spoken that a cefiro is... The more respect i give it. It already gets enough attention being a cefiro... The cefiros are a king import. Nobody likes a king that gloats about the fact it's king.

Keep the colourings classy, and gentle. The car speaks for itself. It doesn't need silly colours to prove a point

haha sorry eps , i must have logged off as you were writing that :P . Yeah it has picked up in here a bit , notably more from the western side than anywhere else, i know what your sayiong though , it got dead in here for a while , hopefully it stays picked up :P

Haha Neil we will get pics bud. Trust me. Just need to slap the gaurds back on for the full kit. It's black ATM but that will do for a first view.

I like gtr purple for the new. Coulor but I'm playing with a few other ideas :)

Any suggestions on colour for the ceffy? Want something that's going to stand out but not the same as the rest.

stick with black if your car is already , add chrome rimzz , thank me after :)

+1 , even though my ceff is purple , i don't think it's tooo out there

Na car is white kit is black

yeah my bad , looking through threads you had a pic somewhere . Find the brightest (i.e blue-est, most whites are very yellow and imo look dirty) white you can find and spray it that colour , then find some bling rims that match the car :P

    • Welcome Thomas! Sounds like you've made some progress. Are you able to drive it and enjoy it a bit now ?
    • HUMVEE are fine in big open areas, but they are problematic on the street and tight areas As for reliability, some of the  US Army guys I have chatted with have said that when they were working they were fine, but, the do spend alot of time in workshops for multiple reasons, admittedly, they did get a hard time by the boys and girls who drove them I would definitely put them in the "buyer beware" category  They do look tough as nails though
    • Just don't use ChatGPT or any other artificial stupidity for the equivalent of googling. Their demonstrated inability to discriminate reality from hallucination should be enough to make them totally untrusted. LLMs don't know anything and cannot think to even the smallest extent. They are just predictors of the next word, and that should never be confused with capability.
    • I think, given the usage model described in the OP, I'd never ever experience the wonders of the 400kW upgrade. What I really need is boost from 2000rpm and probably no more than 260-270rwkW. But I suspect that the highflow is not actually the turbo for that purpose, so I may in fact need to get a G25 or 30 or something right sized and very spooly. We shall see after it is tuned. I've had to back the boost and boost ramp off to stop the thing from pinging since the highflow went on, so I've been almost living the NA life for 9 months now! Injectors are recently in hand. AFM is in hand. Dyno is fixed. Just need to clear a queue of f**king Supras out of the way (and probably fit my new gearbox). So....some time this year? Lol.
    • For what I gather is a Sunday/summer car....braided is fine. You're not going to be left without a vehicle and you have plenty of time for inspection/maintenance. Oof. I wouldn't use them that way. They can probably handle the temperature** but the internal corrugations means that their flow characteristics are a bit shit. Lots of extra friction and pressure loss. Makes them flow like the next pipe size down. ** They are stainless, and the stainless can usually be at least something like 304L, which is pretty good at higher temperatures (unlike 316L, which I would use for a wrt/corrosive environment, but not a particularly hot environment). But the welding needs to be top notch. And even then, because you usually need at least one cone-seat end on them (because you can twist the hose and do up both ends at the same time unless one of them is a union) they can be prone to coming loose with heat cycles.
