Tps Question 34 Gtr

I am hoping this is obvious.

My mfd calibrates fine and the TPS checks fine but when I start the car the TPS range won't show..and therefore sets off the 4wd and alsd light.

On occasion when the range actually works then no lights and all is good.

Would it be a safe assumption to say the TPS mayb be faulty by not hacking maybe a spike on startup???

Anyone else had this happen?

Interesting development. The TPS seems fine and volts are good to a multimeter and to the diagnostic plug under the dash, but the MFD still drops it out on startup and when it does..poof light are up.

Is the diagnostic plug before the MFD?

Any clues...it seems simple but difficult, if you know what I mean.

Could the MFD be faulty?

ECU maybe?

Do I have to start ripping the car apart to trace volts?

Weird..after my fretting, a simple bad earth was the issue.
