Good day everyone

I'm planning on buying a new ACT clutch kit for my r33 and thought why not buy a lightweight flywheel as well. I was talking with a friend of mine about it and he asked me if i'm not gonna buy counterweight for it. I have never heard of anything about counterweight on RB's before and I've searched this site and google but couldnt find anything.

Do i have to buy any counterweight? and if so where can i find one?

FYI my friend has a FD rx7. I have found plenty of counterweight on google for rotories so i thought that is something only rotories need but i'm asking here just to be 100% sure before buying the flywheel.

Thanks in advance.

IIRC counterweighted flywheels are used with engines who's cranks arent fully counterweighted, so its just a different design where the crank/flywheel combo is balanced even though the components arent. The counterweight is just meat in the flywheel its not a separate piece. RB cranks are fully balanced so the there's no counterweighting on the flywheel. All AFAIK - i'm no expert.
