HIPSI
Recently the back end of my car has been jumping around. Going around corners 2 quick you can really feel it, jumps + lose of traction. Is this due to the shocks on the way out or something else?? anyone??? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/33271-back-end-jumping/ Share on other sites
Sydneykid
Hi hipsi, that's a tough call to make without a lot more info. Does it do it more over bumps? Or on smooth roads? Wet or dry? Tyre pressures (as in what are they)? Wheel alignment (as in hit anything lately)? Any noises from the rear suspension? The more info the better, then maybe I can guess, still a guess though. Amini33
This also happend to me, took the car to pedders, did a ($14) 28 point safety check, found out the left rear shock was dead. (problem Solved) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/33271-back-end-jumping/#findComment-667390 Share on other sites
HIPSI
The back end jumps around regardless of road surface (bumpy or smooth), in the wet not so much due to the reduced corner speed. But a cheap check up sounds the go. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/33271-back-end-jumping/#findComment-667943 Share on other sites
Dr Boost
same thing happened to me, left rear shock too. you could see oil leaked out of it everywhere. i got a second hand shock and spring for $90. it made so much difference. give your car a shake from each corner, if it keeps shaking for a couple of seconds after you stop then the shock on that corner is probably buggered.
