I just did a search and can't beleave there isn't a tutorial on removing the front diff, I did find some on doing cv's etc so is it just a case of removing right front driveshaft and then unbolting the front of the diff cover ?

or like everything is there way more to it than that ??

You need to remove both front driveshafts, then remove the front cover.

With the LH driveshaft, you undo the flange joint adjacent to the sump, then undo the flange on the sump and pull the shaft outwards (not necessarioy "out").

The diff unit will then basically fall out of the housing.

na not making it RWD, having issues with a 2-way front LSD, if an oil change doesn't sort it out might need to have the diff out

As "Beer Baron" has said does the engine have to come out, or can what "blind elk" said, be done with engine in ??

What issues are you having? A lot of chatter??

yeah thats pretty normal, but I got a notching to the left when going in a straight line, did an oil change which seems to have helped, but I don't think its gone completely??
