R34 Climate Control - Sensor Broken?

Hey Guys,

Did a search and couldn't find anything.

In my R34 GT, when it is set to 18.5 degrees or higher, it blasts out the hottest it can at full speed. Only when it is set to 18 (which is the lowest setting) will it push out cold air, again, only at full blast.

It seems to me like the temperature sensor is broken.

My question is, is that sensor located in the main control unit? Will replacing that unit fix this issue.

Or if anyone else has any other ideas as to what the issue might be, please post up.

Thanks.

i had the exact same issue as u, theres a little grill to the left of the steering wheel botom plastic trim. behind there is a sensor. my bet its dc so take the trim off and check it.this fixed it in mine. theres also another sensor in the front of the radiator check that its also connected.
