I'm just curious what factory options were available back in the day? For instance, my 1994 r33 gtst has a front mount intercooler and I have no idea what brand it is and where it came from. The guy I bought the car off had it imported with it. Is there any chance it came from the factory? I also have impul bucket seats. I know impul are associated with a lot of nissan cars, any chance these came from the factory?

The reason I ask is I want to put on a Apexi pod and it's apparently illegal to modify two cold air intakes in Victoria because it raises exhaust emissions (can somebody verify this?). But if the cooler came as an optional extra i could argue, should it ever arise, that I have only modified one intake (as the cooler would be stock).

Any advice would be appreciated

No, only GT-R's came with a factory front mount intercooler. Chances are it was fitted in japan, so you likely lucked out there

GTS-T come from Nissan with a side mount intercooler.

An aftermarket front mount intercooler would have been installed by the previous owner = 1 intake mod in VIC.

So don't bother installing an air pod.

The stock air box and the panel filter inside is decent enough for about 200+ kW's.

Go for a high flow panel filter if you want but the stock one is still fine... Maybe give it a clean if not done so...

Your Impul seats would have been an aftermarket item as well.

Do they look like these Impul seats?

Impul brought out the 'R33R' which had slightly different interior and exterior add ons.
