hey guys ive bought a new motor with a n1 oil pump and im looking at upgrading the gears on it, i dont want to buy something like tomei or greddy as i have a standard sump on it. so i just want to make it a little bit stronger and have that peice of mind, i know there are a few companys that do the billet gears, but has anyone used them? what is involved in fitting them to a n1 oil pump?

thanks

Ive got a set of nitto gears that have only seen dyno time if your interested. Fitting requires milling the pump housing and surfacing the back of the pump to a 0 thou clearance fit with the steel backing plate. A competitent machine shop can do this work easily.

Yes I have done a search, do you mean Jap performance centre if so called them they don't do them. Who else does them and who has used them?

Johnson Peformance Centre http://www.jpc.com.au/?page_id=83

The Nitto Gears sound interesting...
