I Need Help On R33 Gts

hi i have a 1996 r33gts series 2, what type of exhaust system should i have to increase performance and etc, i personally would prefer apexi or hks, can anyone recommend me any models that are good? and what type of computer should i buy for the car to increase performance? thanks

Need to get an exhaust system with some back pressure to gain power (oversize exhausts will lose power on an NA car) so look at 2-2.5 inch system....

As for computer to again more power, not so sure......

2.5" exhaust (even just one made by a local exhaust shop) will be fine, and as for computer, get a 300zx ecu and put a nistune board in it.

What muffler are you talking about? If you mean on your exhuast system well that comes down to you how loud you want it.

its a single turbo car...is there any particular models on the exhaust i could look at?

Can we get the normal ECU reprogrammed to gain more power after exhaust or intake mod? Remap i think it's called. Or is that only possible with SAFC and Nistune?

the r33 ecu is only able to be remapped by a few people because a new chip has to be burnt and installed into the ecu. using a z32 ecu with a nistune you essentially end up with full aftermarket ecu that can be tuned by a lot of people (even yourself if you have the nistune software, a consult cable and a laptop)
