Hey im going to order some 725cc injectors from Injector Dynamics for my 34gtt, but since they dont have rb25det neos over there in the USA they asked me to confirm the size.

Ive seen one or two people mention that 350Z injectors will fit perfectly.

Can anybody confirm that? I just dont want to order the wrong size, thanks.

hey mate i think Neo injectors and Z33 are interchangable

http://www.sardracing.com/products/Injectors.htm

there is a list at the bottom of the site showing the compatibilaty

maybe give them the part numbers for the Rb25 neo and see if they are the same??

hope it help

If you mean by Injector Dynamic ones EV14s then they are Bosch too .

The thing is that everyone's raved about IDs EV14s and how much easier tuning is with them - even with big ones like 1000cc and more .

If I had my time again I would have used them in My GTS25T instead of the Nismo 740s I have .

Those EV14 ID injectors are known to be very uniform very fast acting even at quite small pulse widths . If you do searches on them you find them OE on late model cars running higher than 90s era fuel pressure and often returnless systems . They do actually return fuel to the tank but most of them are in tank and so is the pressure reg .

If drivability and fuel consumption mean anything to you go with the most accurate fast acting and uniform injectors you can fit .

Your tuner if he's worth his salt will thank you for this .

A .

Thanks guys so the Bosch ones are better then the siemens then? And the bosch fit straight it to an R34 GTT?

I was looking at these Siemens ones:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SIEMENS-840CC-DEKA-...rts_Accessories

Would there be all that much difference between the bosch EV14s from tuffcarparts on ebay and the ID ones?

As far as i can tell ID buy the EV14s and carefully match them in to sets, is this worth an extra $350? I have no idea.

The ebay shop also says that their sets are 100% flow matched but i imagine they wouldnt do as much testing as ID, who knows!

I know its only $350 but i dont want to throw money around if its not really needed.

And Harey I dont know anything about the Siemens, but in regards to the bosch "wasnt me" said

i used these. went straight in no mods needed other then the injector plug.

these are about 950cc and idle perfect. can get smaller ones is you dont think you need that big.

in that thread he linked.

The Bosch EV14's from the ebay site are fine. They are flow tested they still had some the fluid left in them when i recieved mine. Dont forget that you will need to buy US CAR plugs to suit the injectors (same plug as GM LS1-LS9). These cost $11 each so there is another $66 you will need to spend.

im dont 100% sure but i dont think the stock ones are EV1 plugs and doubt that they would be.

give these guys a call and tell them you want USCAR injector plugs and tell them they are the same as holden gen2's

I got the 4 squirt Deka 610's. I cut, soldered and heat-shrinked the new plugs on and they have been running E85 perfectly for over 6 months. They were a little longer than my stock ones, about 10mm or so but I couldn't argue with the price, $500 all up.

    • Does that price include the rack time to straighten the frame and body and replacement of parts and paint, as well as the noise and emmisions testing  The last engineering certificate I had done, albeit about 15 years ago, was around $1000 for a few inspections and the certificate
    • 😂 thanks guys. The diagram i had did not have the breather on it at all. Much appreciated.
    • Geez, engineers fees have definitely gone up. Mine back 2007 cost me all of $300. Mind you, I had to go back to him a few times to get him to write the correct things on the report after he'd inspected it. Things like wrong exhaust size, wrong wheel sizes, etc etc.
    • Can we see a scan of the original quote? The problem with engineers (and by this, I mean, all engineers across all engineering industries) is that there are "engineers" and there are "engineers" (you'll have to imagine the two different vocal emphases on those two versions of the same word. Engineering is a mindset - your farm kid who spent his life rebuilding the tractor will likely make a good engineer. The farm kid who spent his life taking photos of butterflies.. perhaps not. But on top of that mindset, the modern engineer has to learn how to write so that there is absolutely no way of being misunderstood. Proposals/budget estimates/quotations are one place where this is absolutely vital. You have to delineate your scope of supply with extremely hard boundaries, and anywhere where there is any possibility of not being able to have such a hard boundary, you need to write language that will cover you from scope creep, cost overruns, the inevitable interference of the client or their "engineer", etc etc. Now, if your clients are the BHPs and the Rio Tintos of the world, and similar, then you get good at this. If you are an automotive engineer, pitching work to the great unwashed masses, your skills in this area might not be well developed, because you're only dealing with knuckle draggers trying to get a big block legal in a Torana. And when I say "might not"....I'd suggest there's a better than even chance that any such skills might be completely absent. So, we might be able to look at your quote and see what the opportunities are for rebuttal.
