R32 Engine Trouble Help

Hi i have a R32 RB20det and the past couple weeks it has been running like crap! it idles perfect and runs fine at low revs but as soon as it reaches 4000 rpm when i put my foot down, there is no power at all, it doesnt want to push past 4000 rpm either, and iv noticed this when im on long trips when the car is nice and warm....

can anyone give me some advice on what it may be, things to look for or what i can test to maybey diagnose the problem?

Should be AFM. I noticed when i unplugged the AFM and rev my car, it won't want to go past 3000-4000 RPM and makes a crackly sound. Plug it back in and it was fine.

Definately get it checked first.

Can you confirm you can get positive pressure with the turbo? Maybe the exhaust wheel is sitting inside the cat
