Fitting Coilovers

Recommended Posts

and I have tried searching but is there a DIY tutorial online...

Yes, and it's good: R32/33: Replacing Shocks / Installing Coilovers, D.I.Y.

Takes half a day to a day to do it yourself. At a guess, a workshop would probably charge 3-6h labour or so - quite easily be more than the parts if you're getting them real cheap.

I would never pay someone to fit coilovers to my car, its 3 bolts per corner on an R32.

Highly agreed that what will take the most time is setting up the car on stands safely.. make sure you put spare wheels under the car etc.
