Best Place To Hok A Ground Cable Up?

hey everyone, i have put a mono block into my 32 and i used the fuel cover as a grounding point ( yes i did rub it back to bare metal) but every now and again if i hit a bump it come lose and the amp cuts out. so my question is where is a better spot to hook the ground cable up to?

a fuel cover, so when it sparks (amp cuts off and on) and you have fuel vapours, kabooooooooom!!!!! bad idea they are rubber isolated in certain places which is why it cuts off. and very unsafe to use

depends on how far away you mounted the amp from things, is it a GTR or ?

best is a larger size bolt, paint sanded off under it. fender washer, with locking teeth washer on top of that one. solder all connections depending on the amp current you may need big wire ? what gauge are you using ?

and if you sand off the paint to bare metal, protect the area afterwards or it will create a rust spot.

make sure the fuse is at or very very near the battery, what gauge wire are you using on the positive side as well? a photo is worth a thousand words..lol

thanks for the info, im using 8 guage for ground and positive, it is a r32 gtst, the amp is mounted on the back of the rear seat in the boot! i put a fuse at the battery. Its is a mtx mono block 801D
