I was driving along not long after purchasing my r34 and out of the blue the engine just cut out, the turbo timer was still running the car but i had to press the immobiliser button the start the car again, all the lights on the dash came on, slip, ect (by the way what does slip stand for) and stayed on, once i turned the car off and restarted it later everything was back to normal and it hasnt happened again since. Always wanted a skyline but very new to this car, only had it a week, any advice would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

The slip light is your traction control.... when it senses loss of traction and kicks in, the light will usually flash a few times then go away.

As for your other problem, no idea, but it could be something weird happening with the turbo timer? At least it hasn't happened again >_<

ok cool, thanks so much for that, i actualy wondered if it may have had something to do with the turbo timer cause it seems to be doin a few weird things, i have no idea about them though, still new to actually owning a turbo car, its a greddy, maybe i should look into it abit.. Thanks again
