ALARM AND IMMOBILISER

- typical fuel economy of around 14l/100Kms with 80% stop and go traffic and 20% highway. Better economy possible with more highway driving.

- LONG REGO, never a problem at rego time due to no obvious defects (ie. fmic, POD filter, loud exhaust/bov etc)

- as much as I would have loved to take it to the track, this car has NEVER been tracked OR trashed (as it's my daily)

- always garaged and no serious accidents (1 minor rear fender bender, which was repaired by insurance)

- mature driver (30yo) - first owner in Australia. The car came completely STOCK standard from Japan (one business owner)

- NO RATTLES (well one in the dash cluster but that's my fault and shall fix that)

I'm available most days. Five Dock is just off Paramatta Rd (near the M4 exit). Call me to arrange an inspection.

OFFERS ABOVE $21K ONLY.

Please note I am seriously contemplating letting the car go so this is a genuine for sale thread however as I love this car I would like to keep it if possible. I still need to talk to my bank to see if I can get finances for my business without selling the car and if that works out, it may be off the market. I've already had a serious offer for $21,000 so annyone interested, please don't waste your or my time if you can't go higher - I won't let it go below $21k.

swas for cold hard cash only ....or a very good condition corolla + cash ;)

To be fair I should point out that I've been crunching numbers all day and am about 90% certain that I won't (have to) sell the car unless someone makes an offer that's too hard to resist. Basically it boils down to the fact that selling the car right now is financially DUMB because it was bought on 5 years finance and I've had it for a bit less than 2.5 years. And anyone who has financed a car before knows the first 2 years or so you're only paying off the interest mainly. Now if I keep the car for another year or so large % of the repayments will be coming off the remaining principal so basically I'd be flushing down the toilet atleast $5-6k if I sold it now as opposed to say in 12 months (if at all).

Feel free to look around, I'll bet anyone in the market for a 34 GTT will not find a better one in Sydney.

Just a heads up .. I've decided to sell the car as I need to sort out my business finances.

I've has 2 people from SAU come for an inspection and both wanted to buy the car then and there and unfortunately both have pulled out due to my indecision at the time. Now that I've firmly decided it's up for sale anyone serious about buying one of the best and cleanest R34s in Sydney please give me a call any time/day as I work from home.

Weather permitting I'll take some better pics of the car after and upload them soon.

Price is $21k firm and I assure you if you're in the market for one you won't find a better for the price. I've knocked back more than $21k due to not being able to commit to the sale so come and have a look if you're in the market for one, you won't want to miss this opportunity. My $15k loss is your gain peeps, this won't last!@

    • Thanks for reaching out!  It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.  I'm undiagnosed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it in me... I have more half started projects laying around my house, shed, garden, etc taking up space and money, destroying aesthetics than if I added up all of my mates projects together. But, ADHD gives me the ability to hyper focus on things that no mere mortal could even  comprehend.  A recent pool build is an example of that....  I dont know anyone else that would be dumb enough and focused enough to take on then complete something of that magnitude. I call ADHD a superpower but it can equally be completely destructive if not controlled and focusedon the right places. Addiction is a major concern to ADHD people and thankfully my addictions have been no worse than projects, XBOX, chocolate and being an arsehole! It's often hereditary and my 13 year old son is currently learning how to drive it at the moment. Keep lurking! If i can finally finish this bloody thing at some point it will be a win for all of us ADHD'ers! 🤪
    • I've been quietly following this thread for ages, but this one got me. Since my ADHD diagnosis (and associated learnings and prescription) I'm way less inclined to wade into forum yarns when there are better things to do with my time, as half the time I'd end up in some kind of forum debate even if that wasn't my intention. I've not lost the ADHD "superpowers", just am a lot better at directing my hyperfocus into slightly more constructive things, but haven't stopped quietly lurking in here in my spare time.
    • Stripped the tank down and gave it a good scrub. It came up really good! Not sure if I'll just put it back in like that or give it a blackening treatment (such as Bowdens The Black Box). That might give it a matte look so might just run it as is.
    • @MBS206 Ha ha, yeah ADHD is a daily battle to not get drawn in to doing things you want to do that you know you shouldn't do!  Every single time I walk into my shed I end up doing something I started the day having zero intention of doing! I keep mentioning the 1 step forward, 3 steps back scenario and I'm tipping people that are blessed with ADHD (yes, blessed) are the worst at that!
    • We import a lot of cars from Japan. I'd say that approximately 20% of our traffic is imported JDM cars (mainly consumer cars like the Mazda Demio, Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, Suzuki Swift, etc.). We also import a lot from the UK, but this has decreased after Brexit. Apart from the consumer vehicles, two of the larger, well-known dealerships frequently import iconic '80s/'90s JDM cars. I haven't heard of anyone importing from Australia, and they are not advertised (unlike Japanese ones), despite a lot of Maltese migrating to Australia in the '50s and '60s.
