I'm going to be fitting a set of Z32 afm's to my Gtr and heard someone mention that the filters need to be changed too, so what filters fit a Z32 afm?

Currently have a pair of apexi pods.

Any help or info is appreciated

Cheers

yes you have to change a bit as the std AFMs are 65mm and the Z32s are 80mm

so your ducting pipework wont fit and the pod filters wont fit either

if you havent brought them yet check out the nismo GTR afms

they are essentially Z32 inside GTR 65mm shell

so they are direct swap and flow just as much as Z32

without changing the pipework sizes and getting new filters / adapters etc

OK, didn't know about nismo afm's and already have the Z32's.

Have to change ducting? Can I get an adapter piece or do i have to change the lot?

Thanks for the info on sizes

I can offer you a GReddy suction kit, pictured below for $1,479.50 + freight. This kit includes everything require to install the Z32s include wiring, and also replaces the factory "twin turbo" and y-pipe.

i didnt think promoters / traders could reply like that?

yes you need to change the ducting as the normal GTR afms are 65mm and the Z32s are 80mm

so the actual rubber joiners are too small. apparently you can strech them to 80mm but who knows how reliable or safe this is (ie with 20year old rubber will it break?)
