LSD model R33 - How can you tell ??

There are two types of R33 GTS25T coupe 5 speed manuals...

Is there a way to tell whether you have the LSD specification (that had ABS standard), or just the normal model with the ABS option ??

Do you mean the active LSD option ???

The active LSD is pretty rare, I think there was only about 800 R33 GTS-t's made with active LSD.

If you do get one with active LSD then that's a mega bonus. You'll have a little A-LSD light on the dash that will litle up if something is wrong with it, and other than that, the diff will have fins on the cover plate.

Diff cover is like my VSpec - has the cooling fins on it.

do a standstill and see if both wheels are spinning thats how i would find out (or are u talking bout a whole different thing lol

yup.. thats because its the same one for a "rare" factory option, seems like a few people got 'em.. And of course all the V-SPEC people..

well the r33 does already have a viscous lsd

I had to pay a local diif shop about $150 to fit it...it has to be aligned correctly/precisely, if it is not correct the gears don't meet properly leading to breakage
