Had drama's with my A/T is an R33 after an electrical short when messing around with my stereo. Screwed TPS and Shift solenoid B upon sussing out the faults on the A/T diagnostics.

Replaced TPS and today i have have purchased a solenoid assembly and am looking to replace it asap, however for my wallets $ake and the time my mate has given me to help...is it possible to replace the shift solenoid by only taking off the sump of the transmission and not actually removing the whole box....ANY.... help would be appreciated and tips on what i should do as i would like to fix this today cause im sick of being limited to street driving in 1st and 2nd only lol...

Cheers

Cheers...i called around to a couple of shops and got a hold of the Auto Trans Diagnosis file (RE4R01A, RE4R03A AND RL4R01A) too, and have found out that i can just replace the solenoids by taking th sump off (90% sure lol)...will have a go at it soon and change the trans fluid etc and try to get a DIY up aswell
