Hey all,

I am putting up for sale the rare Apex'i rims that come on my R33 GTR. As the topic states they are a genuine APEX'i rim, which i didnt even know they made rims. These are a VERY light weight rim so perfect for track work. They are a 3 piece rim and of very good quality. they have minor wear marks on them but for a fee on top of sale price i can have them reco's to be as new, including new paint and polished dish's.

They are 5x114.3 PCD so all skylines pcd. They are about 9.85" so dunno if that classifies them as a 9.5" or a 10" rim???? They come fitted with federal 595 tyres which are suitable to drive on but have camber wear as most skylines do.

Not sure of the offset but they are on my GTR so if they are a 9.5" i would amagine the offset is somewhere around +20? i have included photos of them on my car so you can see fitment.

Wheels located in SE suburbs of Victoria but can organise freight anywhere for the right buyer as i have a frequently used freight company with my work.

Given the extremely rare availability of these rims i am selling for $1500 firm. They are true JDM wheels to set of any skyline.

Thats not how you measure rim width.

Its actually measured from the bead itself.

Its generally 1inch less than the outside width, which you have measured.

17" x 9jj

+ 17 offset.

Yeah mate, still on my GT-R, They were on the car when I bought it, Don't know too much about them, not alot of info on the web that I've seen, They are pretty darn light I want to get the tyres off so i can weigh them properly, Do yours come with a little sticker on the inside of the wheel in jap ?

On another note,

People looking at these wheels the awesome offset they come with, they can naturally fill out a GT-R guard without requiring spacers !!!

    • I'm going to run hard lines front to back in the future. That should help dissipate a bit more heat. If not, a fuel cooler might be next
    • No. The mark is with respect to the cam rotation. None of those things have altered it. When stationary, the cam position stays in sync with the crank position. It doesn't matter if you moved the head 4 feet up. Hence, that mark needs to stay exactly where it is.
    • Toasty! I was around the same. Around 50 but with a fuel cooler. Got my tuner to dial down the pumps and its so much better.. i think last time I drove it was around 35-40 during summer. PWM makes a huge diff. I have the 1 PWM controller running my feeds.
    • Driving around town in summer, probably like 50°C tops. Went for a 2 hour drive before in summer, somewhere in the 60°C Mind you, I have 3x fuel pumps. 2x 460L 1x DW200
    • Good advice, I’ll try that.  and yeah i thought 5 degrees was a lot as well. The gates T291RB timing belt that was recommended for this engine was kinda tight when installing it and with both cams inline with the timing marks, the belt teeth wouldn’t line up with the gear. So I just turned the whole exhaust cam gear like half a tooth so the belt would go on and then adjusted the cam back inline with the timing mark, so some of that 5 degrees is from that. The actual cam has probably only changed about 2-3 degrees if that makes any sense lol also wouldn’t stuff like decking material from the block, head and different thickness of headgasket and the fact that it’s a rb30 bottom end affect the accuracy of the original timing marks?
