Not yet dude I think it will be most beneficial after a hypergear hi flow and injectors atleast 740cc so that the stock turbo doesn't blow up and injectors leave room for more power so I think after I've done all my new year wish list then it's on with the new turbo injectors and e85

hmmm i've read briefly about the E85....I'm tuned for BP Ultimate at the moment though.

I haven't followed your conversion but I'd say it you have a PFC invest in the e85 "no knock" fuel unless you have something against making more power

running eManage Blue with optional fuel and ignition harnesses. I'm wanting more safe long-term reliability so I think i'll be sticking with the 7psi method for a while unless I'm willing to do a rebuild. Dan got over 50,000ks with his 7PSI set up, i done under 9,000km in a year (living where i am now though that is, quite close to work and everything else) so if i keep this up, drive it in a reasonable manner by the time i get that sort of mileage out of it I may be prepared to rebuild the bottom end to make more power and bigger turbo etc...

I'm not quite in the position to just be throwing out money on cars lol though I have in the last year spent more than I'd like to admit lol

^ they left it closed.

ndawg wants to do it himself but he is worried cause it might have to be retuned..

how exactly do you modify it so it stays opened ?

Cut the signal wire for it on the ECU and run constant 12v to it from memory

With e85 it seems you won't need to rebuild to reach atleast 250rwkw... I'm running 10.5psi I've done 40000ks so far motor is stock

Mods :

Rb25 turbo, power fc

Just jap cooler, Just jap split dump+front pipe

Trust exhaust, nismo fpr, gtst injectors, walbro pump, 52mm radiator, exedy clutch

It's holding up 200atw tuned on 98, but with e85 I may get 0 knock and run a bigger turbo without pinging and get more power

So I'll be a test mule for you guys r33 rb25de+t on e85

But that's a few months away so once I start on it I'll post results and what was done....

Hmmm... E85...

With a (practically) brand new engine, running an eManage Blue and with low-compression turbo pistons installed, maybe I could give that a go... the availability is getting better and because it's just a weekend/fun car it's not an issue if I've gotta go out of my way slightly to fill up... lol a tank will probably last me over a month as it is!

I'll obviously just focus on getting it back on the road first, but after that I might consider going down the E85 route...

ok so i asked the guys in the E85 thread in the turbo section, but they seemed to ignore it,

how would i be able to run this fuel, i know it will need a tune, but what other supporting mods, and can i run it with a remap, i think this is going to be a good alternative to keeping my car from blowing up lol..

my car, de+t, exhaust, hi flow cat, fmic, turbo injectors, bosch 023 fuel pump and remap next week :)

Pm guilt toy but yes you will need a retune and it will keep it from blowing

yehp did and got the answer, needs a standalone computer to tune the car every time fuel is changed,

I'm thinking the new Vipec/Link V44 plug in for the skyline, bigger injectors, bigger turbo, and some e85 could net me some good power,

at least now we wont look as stupid for turboing an NA car, because we have some advantage of high comp motors :)

my thoughts anyway, cant wait till e85 is more readily available,

its 85% ethanol and 15% petrol...

it has a higher octane rating... i think around 105 depending what its made out of

well its good cause you can add more timing and shit... the e85 thread by guilt-toy is a good read

the only downside is that you have to use more of it, but with fine tuning i think the fuel economy wont change much,

an 8.55 sec 1/4 mile supra runs on this stuff... so it has been around for a while in the states and they have taken the plunge to experiment with it...

just a matter of time before we start to run on it...

My TurboXS Plumback BOV arrived today...hopefully get it fitted some time during the week and get the tune looked at again and should see some good results :P

All this money on cars...makes me think about selling and getting a normal car again...anyone want an unfinished project? lol
