yeah its funny, but a diabetic with low blood sugar will also have trouble walking like this dude. dont laugh at drunks. atleast until you ascertain that they ARE drunk

i think usually diabetics with a too low blood sugar will just faint, did you mean too high?

Raoul Duke: [Narrating] Ah, devil ether. It makes you behave like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel. Total loss of all basic motor skills. Blurred vision, no balance, numb tongue. The mind recoils in horror, unable to communicate with the spinal column. Which is interesting because you can actually watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you can't control it. You approach the turnstiles and know that when you get there, you have to give the man two dollars or he won't let you inside. But when you get there, everything goes wrong. Some angry rotarian shoves you and you think "What's happening here? What's going on?" And you hear yourself mumbling...

Raoul Duke: Dogs f**ked the Pope... no fault of mine.

Hmmm not sure about that but I agree with Basti...I have a diabetic mate who becomes a very spaced out and drunk looking individual when he's in need of insulin.

Coming from a family of diabetics, not necessarily.

A hypo (meaning low sugar levels) can cause things like fatigue, confusion, weakness, blurred vision and severe hunger.

Depending on the person (and whether they have type 1 or 2 diabetes) a hypo is generally when the blood sugar is below 4mmol/L.

If the blood sugar levels reach 0mmol/L then yes, the person will go into a coma.

The signs of a hyper (meaning high sugar levels) can be similar.

When the blood sugar exceeds 15mmol/L+ (my brother went well over 30 and it wasn't pretty!!) the person may experience severe thirst, urination, hunger, blurry vision and in severe cases will also go into a coma.

i watched a guy drop his change at footscray, he was stumbling, he goes to pick them up and falls, watched him try and get up for 10 minutes before i got bored.

WOULD have helped him, but really.

why should you be off your face at 10am in the morning?
