first of all, not sure if this topic goes here or in forced induction, but anyway

got my heat blanket in today, to wrap the turbo in, heres a pic

its very similar to this.

i have a stock rb25 turbo, and its internally waste gated, and the heat blanket doesn't have a hole for the actuator arm to go through, would it be wise to just cut a hole in the blanket making sure the arm isn't obstructed? and just do it that way? otherwise im not sure how to go about getting the actuator arm to sit in the blanket properly as these blankets look like they're designed for externally waste gated turbos...

any ideas?
