hey lads

this was off the market for quite a while but my heart still lies elsewhere so ive decided to put it up again

im still second guessing myself as to whether i really would sell it,so we'll see how this goes

first of all,the stagea is getting converted to manual regardless of whether it sells or not

theres a s14 clutch master cylinder and clutch pedal installed, the r33 handbrake has been installed (no more pesky footbrake)

ive got a freshly rebuilt exedy button clutch, big shiny blue dildo shifter, and most of the other little bits and pieces kicking around the shed to get the conversion done

the gearbox is on its way from sydney and is out of a 32gtr showing 44,000ks so its in great nick

other details on the car

interior-

R32GTR front seats, passenger side mint, drivers got a couple of small tears from getting in and out, they also sit a heap lower than standard seats so the driver position is greatly improved

g-squared white dial dash with red leds

grey window switche surrounds (no more fake woodgrain thank good!)

carpets in awesome nick, and full set of genuine mats included

everything works besides the heater (busted heater core)

exterior-

genuine 260rs rear bar

genuine 260rs sideskirts

aftermarket (unknown manufacturer) flared front bar lip

N/A grill

MASA copy rear roof spoiler

engine,driveline-

4WD

auto (at the moment)

new cv boots up front

new lower balljoints

new pads all round

pod filter and perspex heatshield

turbosmart manual boost controller set at 9psi (never anymore, its not a race car)

new o2 sensor

advance dump/front pipe, catco cat, single berkley resinator into AM performance twin straight pipes,3inches all the way and is abit hardcore,i can lower the price slightly and have a magnaflow cannon put on the back and keep my straightys...

whiteline subframe pineapples, tightens up to back nicely

whiteline front springs,lower and stiffer

front and rear strut braces

XR6 fpv front mount intercooler

series 2 tail-lights

couple of very small carpark dings, easily pushed out,ive just never bothered cause its pretty hard to notice

this car has passed regency in febuary with flying colors, not one single issue so its quite clean underneath

think that just about covers it all

price is $12,500 without the wheels and non converted to manual (no parts included except the pedal and cylinder and handbrake as there already in there)

or $14,000 converted but no wheels included (bring your own)

or $15,000 converted to manual and with the wheels

reason is id really like to keep the work radbotes as there super rare and in decent sizes, unless i get an offer round the 15k mark

im also very interested in looking into swaps for a r32 GTR around a similar value, bit of cash either way depending on location and whether i need to travel or not (which i dont mind)

call or sms 0421754575 with offers or if you want a geez at the big girl

inspections welcome,nothing to hide here

will post pictures wen i get home tonight

thanks guys

rodney

Maybe interested chef

does it do sweet handbrakeys in the wet?

If so I'll take it

on a serious note,I think I know I'm done dropping money on this car and I've got some plans to start over with another platform

read the list below in my signature,I've got a short attention span with cars...

Yeah I seen that

would suit a m35 owner who wants to do the conversion with 35gtr front

by the way,the r32gtr Gearbox is now I'm my possession

should go ahead with the conversion within the next couple of weeks

Forgot to mention also it got the full 100k service done at Sinergy

with new water pump, tensioners, belts, plugs, oils, all fluids flushed

just did a 1,500km round trip to Melbourne in it and got roughly 510kms to a tank of fuel

and it's only ever had 98premium put in it btw

Just out of curiosity mate what do you have to do to a Magna to get 190fwkw... and more importantly why...

How:

296 duration cams

Hardened valve springs

Raised compression

Pajero High Comp pistons

Stroked out to a 3.6L

Injectors

Fuel Pump

etc

etc

and why? Cos its good fun!

    • Hey all, not sure how active SAU is anymore but will ask away anyways. Just wanted to get some experience on the 2008 model GTR CBA model.  I've hit that age in my life (43) where I'm like fk it time to get my dream (midlife crisis) car. Looking at importing one in and seeing if these can be reliable if the main flaws are fixed up. Plan is to keep money aside to do the following straight off the bat to future proof it: * install a stage 1 rebuilt trans with all new bits and pieces.  * install a new Bellhousing from the later model GTRs. Or potentially an upgraded stronger version like MAD or ATR. Besides the above two things and typical maintenance items anything else you'd recommend doing.   Been speaking to a few people and the engine on these are very reliable apparently. But keen on the view of the community here. Hoping to find a nice grade 4.5 with low mileage in Grey. I'd go black but swirls too easy. Look forward to your responses and feedback. Cheers
    • Do Alan and Keith work on Skylines now? I remember buying stuff from them when I owned my Ralliart Lancer a few moons ago. Definitely genuine guys and be excellent if they dealt with the skyline platform as well.
    • Hey all, I'm Gaston from Sydney's West.  I was a member on here when I was a younger lad and owned a mint R33 GTS-T. Ended up selling it and getting married having kids (yadda yadda) we all know how the story goes. Now I'm back with the intention to get my midlife crisis (dream) car ... a R35 GTR.  You'll see me about asking questions and searching the forums. Good to be back and can't wait to get back an Import again.
    • I have to put something here in order to post the photos. From what I could gather there's more enthusiasm for modified cars now than there has been for years. There were probably more younger people there than older (me included lol) which was a good sign.  It did seem like the record least amount of representation of the 90's era hero cars on display though. Like maybe one or two examples of S-chassis Nissans, and maybe 3 or 4 R-chassis. By comparison there were a lot of Civics from that era but in all there were about 10 - 12 EG/EK Civic Type R.  Euro exotics are always there in large numbers, led by Liberty Walk...... say what you will about kids using markers to scribble on a Ferrari F40, it did seem like a stunt to infuriate Ferrari enthusiasts, or Ferrari itself. I wonder if there's something more to it. Either way LBWK have done some heinous things to a Lamborghini Miura this time. They should stop now.
    • Engines and drivelines are not war stoppers for me mate, busted arse bodies and un-obtainium parts and panels are though Both cheap Brumbies I looked at had trashed tubs and a fair bit of rust
