mate a decent 2.5" will support well over 400hp so really unless your goin mad on the car it will be enough BUT the difference in sound between 2.5 and 3 will be very little. It's all in the mufflers, someone above suggested a varex. this is a good idea. I have a 3" on my car and its very quiet (untill your on gate) with just a couple of well chosen mufflers. You'll probably be surprised how quiet a well made hi po exhaust can be. find an experienced and skilled exhaust guy, then just tell em what you want and go for gold :ermm:

3'' with gate would be your best option with a new born :P

i would be very happy of my dad if i was getting dropped off to pre school in that. lol

Going with Streatracer. 3" with good mufflers.
