Hi guys,

i just wanna know is it possible to remove a turbo from a GTT engine, guys if theres a way i'd like to hear it. Cause i've heard of ways like, removing the manifold, and replacing it with another non turbo manifold. Can this be done? Will it affect the engine? Will it even be drivable?

No you can't take it off.

The turbo is welded to the manifold, and the manifold is welded to the head, and the head, it's welded to the block, and of course, the block is welded to the body.

So, you'll need to just buy a non turbo version Cheeeyaaaamp.

to be somewhat helpful to the OP, yes the turbo can be removed, however you would be better of buying a hyundai excel as it will be faster, and i'm not joking. even a commodore with 2 million kms on the clock that is only running on 4 cylinders will be faster than it.

yes you can take the turbo off but you will have to change the vvti change over piont and convert the hicas to the front wheels
