R32 Gearknob Thread Size

Yes, Ive searched everywhere on SAU and Google yet I cant find it. My friend is making me a gearknob at school and he needs the measurements to drill the hole.

It should be like (example): 1.5cmx5.0cm

P.s. it should be a R32 GTST

I'd say it is M10 x 1.25 so he needs to drill the hole 8.5mm diameter

EDIT: My bad, should be an 8.8mm drill

what craig said above is right. but he also should've pointed out that the 1.25 bit of it is what the thread spacing is. in this case it means the thread is spaced at 1.25mm apart. you will need to know this when your mate taps the thread into it.
