and just to be on a safer side... get an old blanket or quilt and put that on the car.. then wrap the cover around it... for teh extra sofffffffnessss and make sure it's tied properly... like ... really tight.. that is all.

If you are really anal,,,get someone to sew flanelet sheets together and use them under the cover.

Just a word of warning though on water-proof car covers,,,because they don't breath you need to be really careful about the car sweating underneath them. You need to air the car periodically,,,beleive it or not cars and paint sweat and if you leave it to long bubbles will form in the paint work. Seen to happen over the years.
