Hey guys,

I need to remove my brake calipers due to a guy wanting to purchase them!

I know to remove the caliper i need to remove the 2 rear bolts..

But to put the new turbo brakes on do i need to buy a brake bleed kit?

Is it a hard job to do?

cheers

no, just remove the master cyl cap and gently press the caliper pistons back to allow room for the thicker new pad.....finish by checking fluid level.

EDIT: I just read your post again.....sounds like you're doing calipers rather than just pads, in which case yes, you will need to bleed the system....you won't need a bleed kit if you've got someone pumping the pedal for you.

I changed my non turbo brakes over to turbo ones a while ago. I think you will need the turbo disks aswell. I drilled mine to suit 4 stud until I got the 5 stud hubs. Other than that its not a hard job the brake lines bolt straight up to the new calipers. Then just need to be bled like sled said.

Just dont round off the brake line nut otherwise a simple job will turn into a pain in the backside.
