Hello all

Just wondering what to do about my steering wheel its getting to be quite worn in places the leather still is quite good for the most part

but there is some really bad patches whats the best thing to do, it is an airbag wheel would getting it rewrapped in leather somehow be the

best / easiest fix? and how would I go about this? the only thing if I do decide to do this is what kind of places would do this for me as I

don't have the time to do it myself unfortunately I am using a leather look steering wheel cover at the moment just temporarily (getting sick of that)

or would it be best to get a new or another better condition steering wheel with airbag are these easy to replace or not?

my mate says to replace airbag wheel have to dissconnect the battery and then wait 10mins or so cause even when battery disconnected

sometimes if your not careful you can still trigger the airbag off is this right? I'm not sure how I would go about this and

I don't particulary want to muck around with this myself, so any thoughts, opinions would be appreciated

Just had my car resprayed considerably expensive but worth it my car had paint issues apparently back in the 95 - 96 era

there were a few japanese companies got bad batches of paint and the top coat didn't stick to the undercoat properly Nissan, Toyota and I think maybe Honda

just to name a few. So when I got stone chips instead of just a small chip I got massive flakes of paint coming off, so it had to be stripped right down and redone so its

been 3 weeks off the road happy to get it back now, mines been like it from the factory any one else here had an issue like this? or is it just mine?. The bloke I went to,

to get it resprayed says he's done several japanese cars that have been like this, he does a lot of mercedes, bmw and hsv's and is quite a fussy bloke so am happy with mine now.
