Did anybody else get one of these for a 33GTR. Mine doesn't really seem to fit anywhere without having excessive amounts/very kinked line?

You have a photo? The GTST one was kind of like that, had quite a lot of excessive line so you could route it how you wanted.

Had another look today, seems if you run it down the L/H side of the slave then fwd and back to the standard mount it'll work out ok. Might sell it and buy myself a GTST one though, I still want a direct line from the slave to the master, the extra $25 is worth it not to have to mess around bleeding the compensator line :)

Do you have pics of the end fittings that are on the 33gtst one?

Yeah man I have yours sitting here :)

Just a heads up as to why it is taking so long. This is my fault :P

Hel actually don't make a GTT clutch line (I didn't check but it aint on their website and I just assumed they did). So what they did is got them selves a GTT clutch line so they can make one up and add them onto their list of vehicles that they supply for. This is why it is taking so long. However it should only be another week.

I'll keep you updated.

Cheers

Should be next week fingers crossed. I'll give them an e-mail this weekend to see if we are still on schedule.

Also just a heads up, I now have a semi account with Hel due to doing so many kits with them. So I can pretty much get this same price for brake and clutch lines even as a one off sale (don't have to do big group buys anymore). So if any one wants anything just send me a PM.

Cheers

dude, do you wanna send me a list of all the gb's/offers you have going right now... i think i'm buying one ov everything so far... although i missed out on the sump plugs.

but you wanna hook me up with a clutch line for a s1 33 gtst??

God this sucks...

Guys, the clutch lines still aren't ready. They ordered a factory clutch line from Japan quite a while ago and it still hasn't rocked up.

What do you want to do?

1. I can obviously refund the three people for the GTT clutch lines.

2. You could try a GTST clutch line (I don't see what is different about the GTT, any one have a photo of a stock GTT clutch line for comparison?)

3. Or you can keep waiting to see what happens.

I'm sorry guys :)

i'm not in a hurry.. i mean who needs a clutch LOL

Just let us know when they expect an ETA (when they find out) and i'm cool.. I waited almost 3 months for DBA to make more 4000 series slotted for my car :)

Can i get my brake lines sent and then wait for my gtt lines? As im doing a brake rebuild and just held up with thoes?

Yep that's cool. I'll try to send them today.

Ok no worries.

Does any one have a photo of a GTT clutch line? I mean the only reason this is taking so long is they are trying to get their hands on a stock GTT clutch line so they can make the braided ones. The GTST clutch line goes from the master to the slave with two screw in fittings, I really think it will be the same as the GTT, maybe it needs a different sized fitting or something.

I can simply tell them what we need and they can make it, would definetely be a lot quicker.

I enquired about hel braided brake and clutch lines for my gtt. And they said they needed 6 weeks plus my stock lines as an example to get them made. These guys also sell 32 and 33 lines. So if they didn't want to sell me those then I believe they are different from the gtt lines.

    • Yes...but look at the numbers. There is a tiny tiny fraction of the number of Joules available, compared to what is used/needed. Just because things are "possible" doesn't make them meaningful.
    • Thanks for taking the time to post that ! If anything changes or happens please do update us.
    • Somehow Vertimass/Oak Ridge National Labs has figured out a catalyst that can convert ethanol into C9-C10 hydrocarbons in basically a single step without ending up with a bunch of ethylene or similar waste products: https://patents.google.com/patent/WO2023224867A1/en I still don't think anything like this will keep us from needing to transition to EVs regardless along with all kinds of other electrification, but things like this will go a long way towards alleviating the problem of how to electrify things like planes. Renewable diesel is seemingly an easier problem as well, Chevron is already running refineries for the stuff and the primary feedstock is tallow and other waste fats from agriculture.
    • Ok so I have sorted everything with my uniclutch and  i can offer up a bit of feedback and some things that might help others.    I found problems with factory damper line. Weird shit and had trouble with peddle adjustment    I used this https://au.gktech.com/products/r33-gts-t-skyline-braided-clutch-line?_pos=2&_sid=22b01b9b9&_ss=r Also when adjusting peddle leave a bit of play. You can get into a over stroke condition easy.. Make sure you can push the slave forward after adjusting to confirm fluid can return to master then you will need to pump it up heaps…..not sure why but that’s how it is.    last thing the splined adapter is machined perfectly. If your input shaft is old like mine was I would put a bit of valve grinding paste on it and stroke it like a 15 year old. Just to give it a tad more clearance and to better match it to the spline.    reason is on a near flat shift I have had situation where the peddle returns a millisecond after you lift from the clutch. No slip or anything but I reckon this is due to tolerance on the spline being way tighter than stock clutch and binding for a sec. I think this will go away but also my spline was old. Box is old so I guess I should have checked better. It’s a super neat fit.    it feels light as and holds awesome without any noise
