hey guys , im sort of south of hastings and want to know if anyone has used any decent mechanics around here. I want to get a full service done on my R33 but dont wanna drive all the way up to melbourne.

most machnic can service a skyline- its not much different to camry in terms of draining oil etc

Describe what you actually would like done! all fluids? Pently of workshops in the dandy area which isn't too far

No sure if it's any help cos it's a fair bit from Hastings, but I'm getting my car serviced at RE Customs in Springvale next Wednesday so I'll let you know how it goes if you're interested.

stopped past a kmart auto and asked how much just to drop the oil i would supply the oil and filter as i didnt want crap $129.00 Thanks but no thanks.. should i get them to fill up my empty container with there shit oil so i dont feel ripped off...

If its just oil change u want any mechanic can do that. Just watch them pour your oil in though if u dont trust them lol. I'm just curious on what RE charges because they seem to be known as one of the best in the area, would be nice knowing my cars in good hands .

kudos motorsport have 100k service kits, i'm buying one for my gtr and getting my 100,000 service done on it with full fluids as well as getting a oil cooler kit fitted, im going to Lin at GT hyper

Hmm can I ask if you're buying anything along with the kit? As some things are not obviously included such as fuel filter and fluids?

hmmm, when i had my gtst chasers done the 100,000km service including everything for 900$ including machining disks and new pads all round

so im starting to think that it might be better to go through them if its going to cost 800$ without labour.

Up to you i guess, all depends if they replace all belts or just timing belts, fuel filters and that sort of thing as well just make sure they do everything

Found someone to do my oil change $40.00 so not too bad i supply oil and filter...Too much trouble to try to find somewhere i can get enough room to get under the car with no ramps..

I'd give +1 to chasers in Mitcham. Good service and friendly bunch who specialize in imports. SAU members get a discount too
