heading to the US soon and wondering what/where is the best place (or website) to find things like steering wheels, helmets, race suits and onboard camera/logging systems.

Yeah tirerack are fantastic, especially when they have clearance specials on.

Infineon raceway near SF has teamdi just opened recently....if you're petite and dainty, seem to have small suits and odd size boots/gloves/etc they can't shift on special frequently. Probably heading in the wrong direction unless for SFI apparel, most of the stuff seems cheaper in Urope for FIA.

The roundy-roundy Nascar places and also speedway outlets are generally cheaper I've found rather than circuit racing places, just be aware there can be a state sales tax implication if you buy from a storefront.
