32 Gtr Gearbox

Was under the car this evening and noticed some wiring that has been played around with.

I have traced the wiring back to the stock plugs next to the fuse box, i am just wondering what these two electrical connections are towards the top of the gearbox on the drivers side.. and why one of them is unplugged?

I have a feeling it may have something to do with the Attessa system..

Just referred to service manual looks like the one the wires are connected to are the reverse lights switch & the rear is a neutral start switch..

If that is the case i wonder why the neutral switch is unplugged?
