Front Door Speaker Install

Hi guys,

Looking at upgrading the stereo, its a v35 coupe.

Firstly, i've been looking at the JL C5-650 6.5 components for the front doors, before i commit to buying just want to know if they will fit depth wise? mounting depth is ~2.5in.

secondly, where do you guys mount your amps? if theres enough space under the seat there? or safer on the back of the rear seats?

the amp i am running is the JL 300/4V2.

chris should answer your question once hes on.

for now i dont think itll fit under the seat unless you have pdxs they are small designs built by alpine. the speakers should fit as ive notice our v doors are really thick/heavy. are you still running stock bose cd player or aftermarket?
