Nikon D7000: In the face of competitor brands that have higher megapixel counts and superior movie-recording abilities, this is the camera that Nikon-using enthusiasts have been crying out for. And boy, looking at the spec sheets alone, it looks like Nikon has really delivered. This APS-C (with 1.5x FOV crop) camera delivers 16.2-megapixel photographs and records Full HD 1080p/24fps videos in AVCHD format (easily burned to Blu-ray). Recordings can be up to 20 minutes long (a far cry from the 5-minute clips of old) and edited in-camera. Frames can also be extracted from videos to print as photographs; and it’ll be easy to manage photo and video files with the dual SD card slots. With a magnesium alloy body (normally reserved for pro-level cameras such as the D300s, D700 and D3s) and a native ISO range of 100-6400 (extendable to 25600), this camera will sit somewhere between the D90 and the D300s for quality and performance. Pricing, however, is going to have to wait until October, when it’s expected to hit the market. Price not set

Main source of light is coming from the video guys flood light  god i hated that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I appriceate you playing around with the pic and letting me know.. but it was not the style of processing i was going for.

The original pic looked like what you have done.

Anyways cheers tho :ninja:

oh and i have kept this sort of processing from the pre-wedding shoot.

yeah sorry I thought you were saying the video guys floodlight was giving that look and you weren't happy with it... lol

I'm bored today so was looking for excuses to slack off... I'm a graphic designer so I'm always messing with photographers work hehe;)

Not having a dig at you, but you should be careful about editing other peoples pics mate. Some people (Mostly US people) get extremely offended if you don't ask if you can re-edit. I'm sure none of us here would mind, but still, would be nice to ask :ninja:

Nice edit though, i like it and good tips for the noobs out there!

yep realised that after I had done it (didn't help that I didn't read the post properly)... just jumping in a thread messing with someones work isn't the best idea!

anyhoo as someone who employs pro photographers all the time there is some really great work in this thread... sidd shoots people really well, which is harder than it looks

and employ me as lighting. Give me a roll of a gaffer tape and I transform into HE MAN>>>>>> THere's nothing i can't do. I even gaffer taped about 24 cats together to fill in for a cow on a movie set... true story (Actual truth of story can not be verified)

Ahhh the meat. Maybe the last weekend of OCT>? Or early Nov... thoughts?

little shell toes! yeeeeeeeeeeeah

being a photographers apprentice is easy these days, no film to worry about... just take a light reading and chat up the models hahaha

actually wedding photography is a good little earner... one of the guys we use also does weddings, works nearly every weekend at 3K a pop! he's very good though... to think I did design because I was told there's no money in photography...

That's some good coin. If only I was more of a wedding type of guy.

Also, worth noting I'm always ok with edits. If someone is gonna take the time to offer advice or a different perspective I'm gonna take the time to listen.
