Help Please... Xanavi Dead...

So my xanavi is completely dead... Tried to get it working. No luck. Decided to replace with a new screen and retain the controls for climate control and consolidated the by removing the CD player componentry and placed in the bottom slot replacing the radio and put a new screen in up top but of course... i broke the wiring for the controls on install.

Suggestions please... has anyone had any luck converting from xanavi to the s1 control unit?

has anyone connected to an aftermarket screen that will allow control of the A/C etc?

are the other Nissan units/controls that would work?

does anyone have another Xanavi they're willing to part with?

occasionally come up on yahoo auctions jp. There was a guy in japan who made harnesses to convert to the S2 climate control unit, but was around $500 from memory. You would also have to change surrounds etc, different shapes. If you do get another xanavi, big tip is to replace cooling fan in back (12v pc part), a main suspect for xanavi deaths.

i dont see much of a demand for these units so i would of thought a fair price would be about a ton.
