Thanks Duncan,I am about to buy my first and it has 104k's on the clock and no hard proof that it was changed,can you give me an idea as to what it costs to have one done,drive in drive out.

If it hasn't had the 100,000 km service done yet you'll probably need to do the whole hog. The service kit is around $500 (from Kudos) and you'll probably need a few other bits and bobs depending on the condition of the car.

My car had its 100k service done last year by the previous owner and the receipt was just shy of 2 grand (including 6 hours of labour) so it's certainly not cheap. So make sure you negotiate the price accordingly ;)

You want the idler and tensioner done as well as the water pump when you do the belt (assuming 25s are like 26s). IIRC some also do cam seals but i have no idea about the details of that. The Kudos kit looks good it has pump/idler/tensioner and also mentions crank and cam seals.
