Only looking at 280rwkw max.

Fuel system will be Hi flow injectors and a tomei fuel pump. So no need for a adjustable fpr?

I though the fpr had more to do with what the injectors are rather than what power in running?

factory reg will have no issues at that power level.

The dampers sometimes cause issues over 350rwkw on the R34 though.

Also, correct me if I am wrong, but a higher fuel pressure puts more strain on your fuel pump. If you have a look at the flow rates of fuel pumps they flow less fuel at higher fuel pressures. So you have to be careful when increasing fuel pressure that your pump can flow enough at the high fuel pressure.
