Bodyshop/paintshop Thread

I was wondering if anyone has any info on the best place/places to get a bodykit fitted/other exterior work (i.e. widebodies requiring custom moulding work, rear wing fitment) and your cars sprayed/re-sprayed? If there isn't already a thread here in the ACT section, i think it would be a good idea to start one so that people can refer to it in the future. Maybe list a place or two you've had work done on your car at, or a place you have heard of through a friend, and your experience with them (satisfactory job or not) so that we have an idea of where to go (or do you have to go inter-state to get real quality work done?)

KMF in Queanbeyan is a MUST!

Naz has been responsible for multi award winning cars like the BOOSTN rodeo that took out god of autosalon and summernats.

He has a large workshop and extra large paint booth capable of any job. He is also able to complete plastic welding and much more.

But most importantly he is genuine and easy to deal with. Very proffessional and competitively priced.

He is currently widening my standard front bar to suit my wide body supra and will be redoing my bonnet when i eventually buy it.

KMF is the only house of kolour approved painted in this region. With the likes of Owen Webb approving his work you know your being looked after!!

I just got some work done through KMF, and it was amazingly priced, especially considering the detail in his work. I think he is a perfectionist and won'tlet anything out of his workshop that isn't perfect

I had my front bar fixed and resprayed and Naz colour matched it as well, which was a very hard task. He will be putting Aerocatch bonnet pins on to my carbonfibre bonnet within the next couple of weeks.

+1 for KMF --- This guy does amazing work!

I had some wheels painted recently by Wizard Paint Repairs in Fyshwick and they did a really good job - www.wizardpaintrepairs.com.au, well priced too.

Also, my GF had her car repaired at Gemini (formerly Hall Bros) in Fyshwick and they did a pretty decent job, no runs no overspray and really friendly service... Good turn around time too.
