Can These Parts Really Cost $1,500 ?

So i hit a wombat last week and from that i needed a wheel alignment.

When i tried to get one, they said it couldnt be done because the following things were damaged.

- LUF Knuckle bent

- LUF wheel bearing & HUB impact damage

- LUF tie rod impact damage

The guy at peddars quoted me $1,500 for parts and $400 for labour.

Is that accurate ?

id give option1 a call im pretty sure they had a 1/2 cut or were wrecking a V35 coupe not so long ago

Yeah look for second hand parts or get them new form OS yourself.

I rang up Option1garage and they have the parts available but from a 4 door .

Just wondering if the parts would be the same for the coupe ?

i dont know exactly but..

i did find the parts but for a sedan model.. are they the same as a coupe?

na not yet.. but the i found 2nd hand parts costing $380 which sounds pretty cheap.. but from a sedan

V35 have pretty solid setup underneath, be pretty hard to do that kind of damage.

Take it to your local Nissan dealership and get them to have a quick look, or someone wit ha V35 and jack both cars up and compare to see any difference.
